SHOWS HELP ME LET GO OF A LOT.
Before the world shut down I was able to share my art at a show in Cleveland, OH. A single-artist event where I released my latest collection, Let It Go – Allowing Your Balloon to Float.
The entire collection focused on escaping mental roadblocks through art. Each piece allowed me to exhale some very toxic traits I’ve encountered during my life.
GRATITUDE FOR BLACK GIRLS
The wonderful organization Gratitude for Black Girls hosted an event geared towards promoting the individuality of Black Women through Art & Entrepreneurship.
Hosted in Chicago, IL – owner Tatyerra Spurlock personally invited me to showcase my art and inspire those in attendance. I was able to sell out of all 9 pieces I brought with me – it was very jaw-dropping to be apart!
GRATEFUL TO BE ABLE TO EXPRESS
ALLOW YOURSELF TO FLY... CREATE YOUR WINGS.
SWANDAY Chicago brought me into a new space that allowed ultimate creativity. This entire event celebrated women graphic designers. Before SWANDAY I was in Dallas, TX preparing to move to Cleveland, OH.
I was contacted by the wonderful curators of the event Charne Graham and Rachel Gadson. Two artists in their own right, allowing a space for women to open up and create unconditionally.
