Dying eyes hidden behind a smile that he wore everyday. Walking around with the weight of the world on his shoulders, no wonder he didn’t believe in people. He had been let down, used, abused, and underappreciated. Yet he walked with his head high to make sure the world never saw him sweat. But I did. I saw pain, anger, discomfort, and uncertainty. I also saw strength, possibilities, chances, opportunities, fun, laughter, tears, and love. You didn’t have to be perfect to the world, the world didn’t appreciate you, I did. The perfect person to me is understanding, good at communication, dedicated, loyal, and most of all, respectful.
